2 August 2011 - New timetable Week Scheme

Historically, week 1 of Semester 1 was recorded as week 9 in student timetables. This reflected the University financial year which begins in August.

To avoid the confusion this can cause, from this September, week 1 of Semester 1 will instead be numbered as week 1. This has no effect on the start date, it is simply a change to the underlying week scheme which should make timetables more logical and simpler to understand.
