The Directorate of Student Recruitment
The Directorate of Student Recruitment was created in spring 2006 following a reorganisation of the former Directorate of Corporate Affairs. The new Directorate consists of the following three teams:
- Admissions
- International Office
- UK Marketing
The Directorate forms part of the portfolio of the Vice-Principal and Pro-Vice Chancellor for External Affairs and the Student Journey. It exists to support the achievement of the University's recruitment targets through:
- the design, implementation and continual improvement of effective and creative marketing and recruitment strategies and campaigns
- the design, delivery and continual improvement of customer-focused, professionally delivered admissions processes at all stages of the student journey from enquiry up until enrolment
Our collective mission is to help the University achieve its recruitment targets, over the short, medium and long term, in terms of volume, quality and diversity of students recruited. In order to do this, we recognise the need to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, particularly the Faculties and Schools at RGU. We also seek to maintain particularly strong links with the Communications Office and the Development Office in order to ensure an integrated approach to external communications and alumni relations.
