Student Ambassador Programme
The University has developed an RGU Student Ambassador Programme to encourage more students to become involved in some key areas of University work, including supporting new students and helping promote the University.
Working as a Student Ambassador is an excellent opportunity for current RGU students to enhance their CV and work experience profile by supporting the University in a number of key areas.
These areas include welcoming new undergraduate and postgraduate students to RGU and helping with their orientation and induction not only to the University, but to the city of Aberdeen itself.
Other key areas involve:
- Representation of RGU to school pupils and parents at RGU events such as Open Days or at events in secondary schools and colleges throughout Scotland
- Manning stands at events such as careers fairs and alumni receptions
- Taking part in online student recruitment activities, e.g. chat forums for prospective new students
There is no fixed commitment – the amount of work you could be involved in will vary from month to month, allowing you plenty time to concentrate on your studies and develop your social life.
