RGU has invested over £11 million in a state-of-the-art sports facility, which sees a dramatic improvement in sporting infrastructure available for the region and also acts as a social hub for the Garthdee campus.
The facility features a 25m swimming pool, three gyms, climbing wall and bouldering room, cafe bar, three exercise studios and a vast sports hall.
Located by the River Dee, RGU: SPORT is situated right at the heart of RGU's Garthdee campus
Directions
Coming into Aberdeen from A90
- Follow signs for A90 Aberdeen
- As you enter Aberdeen down the hill, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Garthdee
- As you go over the bridge, at the roundabout take the 1st exit. Boots will be on your left hand side
- Continue straight through two roundabouts passing Asda on your right and B & Q / Sainsburry's on your left
- Continue straight up the hill, through both sets of traffic lights passing David Lloyds on your left
- take the next exit on the left signposted RGU: SPORT
Coming from A96
- Follow signs for A90 Aberdeen or 'The Robert Gordon University'
- As you enter Garthdee, Asda will be on your right hand side. Take the 3rd exit from the roundabout passing Boots on your left
- Continue straight through two roundabouts and up the hill with David Lloyds on your left. Pass through both sets of traffic lights and take the next exit on the left signposted RGU: SPORT
