Welcome to the February edition of RGU: NEWS.
With the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow and the recent news that SportScotland is to open an office in Aberdeen, it's clear that sporting excellence is claiming its rightful place on the national agenda. This month's centre page spread features RGU's state-of-the-art sports centre, RGU: SPORT, which is already playing a key role in ensuring that our students and the local community can not only get fit, but also achieve their sporting potential.
Our feature on profiles of the University's senior managers, Executive Group and Deans continues this month with an interview with Dean of the Faculty of Design and Technology, Professor John Watson.
