Welcome to the June edition of RGU: NEWS. Many thanks to those of you who took the time to participate in our online survey on the magazine and the RGU: Bulletin. We are currently analysing your responses, and will use these to improve the service we provide.
Teaching may be over for the session, but developments around the University continue apace, not least of which is the formal initiation of work on the new buildings at Garthdee as part of the Estates masterplan.
This edition also features a focus on the portfolio of Shona Cormack, Vice-Principal: the Student Experience and External Affairs. It is intended to provide an overview of who does what within the various departments in Shona's portfolio. We hope that you find it useful.
The wealth of fine art, architectural drawings and historical artefacts held within the University Collections, which are managed by the Library Service, is also highlighted. In the coming months we will be profiling individual pieces of note from the Collections to heighten awareness of out 'hidden treasures'.
Please get in touch with your suggestions for Schools, support departments, and specialist research centres around the University to feature over the coming months. Email your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org." class="standard">email@example.com.
