As mentioned in August's RGU: News, the Virtual Campus and iNet are merging at the end of this month to form a single learning environment for all RGU distance learning and on-campus courses.
Much easier to use than the previous Virtual Campus and iNet, and providing a more personal touch, the new Virtual Campus has been developed in direct response to feedback from staff and students. Key enhancements for staff include easy incorporation of collaboration tools in modules and the ability to use the same learning materials across a number of modules. Students will be able to access the new Virtual Campus through the Student Portal and submit their coursework online.
Future developments include a range of new tools for web page authoring, importing third party content, archiving learning materials and integrating learning materials with assessment tools.
