Leadership and Global Peace Lecture
The Rt. Hon Lord Robertson of Port Ellen will be in Aberdeen in September to give The Robert Gordon University Leadership Lecture on Leadership and Global Peace, which has been organised in collaboration with Deloittes, First Group and Petrofac.
Lord Robertson, whose experience as Secretary General of NATO and UK Defense Secretary give him a unique insight into the issues of global peace for leadership, will be discussing these issues against the backdrop of the G8 summit and the recent terrorist attacks in London.
The event has attracted great interest from local businesses with sponsors including Aberdeen Airport, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen Journals, Bovis Land Lease, Chevron, Conoco, Paull & Williamson, and Total.
Leadership and Global Peace will take place at the MacRobert Hall on the Schoolhill campus on Thursday 22nd September at 6.00pm for 6.30pm. A buffet reception and charity auction will take place in Aberdeen Art Gallery immediately after the lecture when there will be a chance to meet Lord Robertson. Proceeds from the event will go to the charity Saving Sight in Grampian.
