Indicative Module Content |
---|
This module will examine the factors that designers must consider when creating various internal environments. Students will examine the functional, performance, aesthetic and statutory requirements of internal finishes. Students will be able to apply this knowledge to real life or simulated scenarios and will, through the utilisation of tutorials, be required to specify appropriate finishes. Content will include: partitions, ceilings, floor screeds & finishes, wall finishes, ironmongery, historic finishes, deterioration and repair, specifications and materials. |
