Aims of Module
This module aims to simulate work place experience and professional practice to contextualise the student's studies to date and to reinforce the interdisciplanry nature of the Built Environment.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Advocate and appraise interdisciplinary working and group/team working in the Built Environment.
2 Reflect upon and contextualise their studies in relation to the provision of profesional services in the Built Environment.
3 Analyse the role of professional ethics in the provision of professional services in the Built Environment.
4 Reflect upon their personal performance in relation to the professional / group/ interdisiplinary tasks undertaken and identify any improvements required.

Indicative Module Content
Pre-contract and post-contract project professional activities, professional ethics, professional practice, professional advice and technical reporting all set within a multidisciplinary context. Group work, team building, leadership and personal reflection.

Module Delivery
The module is problem based with tutor mentoring and will be presented on a workshop basis that will involve group work and interdisciplinary work with other students.
