Aims of Module
To provide the student with the ability to further develop built environment discipline skills through exchange study in a country within the European and International communities.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Demonstrate the further development of built environment skills through study in European or an overseas country.
2 Generate and communicate projects through oral, written and graphic media appropriate to discipline specific requirements applied in a European context.

Indicative Module Content
The module is delivered by a partner institution in a European or overseas country. Study programme (Learning agreement) will be agreed with the host partner institution. The studies will be undertaken in English.

Explanatory Text
The module is assessed on a pass/fail basis. The module grade is based on performance in Component 1 (Coursework). Non-submission will result in an NS grade.

Precluded Modules SU3022 Industrial Placement , SU3039 Professional Practice Simulation and SU3033B Simulated Professional Practice.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
The student will be offered a menu of lectures, seminars and studio projects and will be advised by staff at the host institution regarding a suitable course of study in accordance with their ability and experience. The European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) or equivalent for overseas institutions, which includes a learning agreement describing the programme of study abroad, and approved by both the home and host institution, will facilitate full academic recognition.
