1 | Plan and programme the resources required to successfully complete the construction of a simulated project. |
2 | Identify the health, safety and environmental issues involved in the construction of a simulated project. |
3 | Appreciate the factors which influence time, cost and quality on a simulated project. |
4 | Apply knowledge of appropriate construction technology within the context of the project |
Indicative Module Content |
---|
The module facilitates the integration of topics delivered at Stages 1 and 2 by guided application of best practice techniques to a simulated simple building project. Organisational and economic factors will be viewed in the context of flexible and efficient construction practices. Design and construction will be integrated with emphasis on a safe, environmentally aware practical application and clear customer focus. Individual and team working activities will be encouraged. |
