Aims of Module

To provide an overview of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and a critical appreciation of surrounding debates, approaches and practices.

Learning Outcomes for Module

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

1. Understand critically principles, vocabulary and theories of CSR.
2. Demonstrate a critical awareness of key contemporary developments in CSR practice within the energy sector.
3. Evaluate critically the roles and impacts of CSR policies and actions.
4. Develop original and creative responses to problems and issues in CSR and energy.
