| On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
| 1 | Evidence the capacity to critically analyse and reflect on their own practice. |
| 2 | Recognise and critically analyse the implications of their needs for continuing professional development. |
| 3 | Provide an informed critical analysis of the financial, legal, social policy and organisational contexts in relation to, and as they apply to the practice setting. |
| 4 | Demonstrate competence in direct practice skills as required by the SSSC in a manner appropriate for a Stage 2 student. |

| Self critical, informed and reflective analysis of practice in the contexts in which it has been conducted. The content also reflects the knowledge, skills and professional confidence and competence requirements around engagement with public protection. |
