Aims of Module | |||

To provide students with the ability to make sound and accountable assessments of learner practice, and evaluate the effectiveness of the experiences provided to the learner. |
Learning Outcomes for Module | |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Arrive at accountable and evidence based decisions regarding a learner's practice competence, linked to the learner's stage of training, which includes the learner's ability to adhere to the SSSC Codes of Practice. |
2 | Effectively utilise a range of assessment approaches which appropriately match the learner's stage of training. |
3 | In collaboration with others, critically reflect and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning environment provided to learners. |
4 | Demonstrate through observation of practice undertaken by the Mentor the ability to contribute to the learner’s practice. |
