Aims of Module
To provide the student with an understanding of organisations and of the psychological aspects of functioning within an organisation, including management procedures and practices.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Organisational structures and cultures. Organisational change. Organisational communication. Theories of management. Competence models. Work motivation. Job Design, Ergonomics and Environmental Psychology. Work groups and teams. Leadership.

Mode of Delivery
This course is based on lectures, seminars and skills workshops. It also requires students to undertake critical reading of relevant psychology books and journals.
