Aims of Module
To enable students to reflect on their personal and professional development in relation to practice and which reflects the knowledge, skills and professional confidence and competence requirements relating to engagement with public protection.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Critically evaluate their professional development and knowledge in meeing the requirements of framework for Standards in Social Work Education
2 Identify specific areas of knowledge and competence which require future development and provide an analysis of how this could be achieved
3 Reflect on how their knowledge and skills in child care and protection have devloped during the course
4 Complete a professional development plan in keeping with the SiSWE requirements
