Aims of Module
The aim of the second assessed practice placement is to enable the student to complete the competence requirements of CCETSW.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Demonstrate at a qualifying level the values, knowledge, skills and competence required by CCETSW to qualify as a social worker.

Demonstrate an appropriate application of relevant knowledge gained from undertaking modules at Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Indicative Module Content
Opportunities arising from practice to meet requirements detailed in the working agreement. The Practice Teacher will ensure that the student is provided with the necessary learning opportunities to demonstrate an appropriate level of competence with regard to the necessary values, knowledge and skills.

| Social Work Practice is assessed by the agency based Practice Teacher using a range of methods including observed practice, student feedback and student learning log. At the end of the practice experience the student is required to write a report which demonstrates an appropriate competence in practice with regard to values, knowledge and skills. In particular, the student must demonstrate an appropriate application of relevant knowledge gained from undertaking modules at levels 1, 2 and 3. In addition, the Practice Teacher writes a report evaluating the student's practice.

With regard to the Indicate Student Workload, students undertake 80 days of agency based assessed practice experience.
