Aims of Module | |||

To provide a case study experience which will enable the student to demonstrate competence in the SSSC requirements contained in the Standards in Social Work Education document in a manner appropriate for a level 3 student. |
Learning Outcomes for Module | |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Explain, apply, justify and evaluate a range of social work methods. |
2 | Critically appraise strategies to deal with ethical issues, dilemmas and conflicts. |
3 | Reflect on personal and professional learning and development, including role of supervision. |
Indicative Module Content |
---|
Case study experience which will allow the student the opportunity to reflect, apply, and integrate a range of values and theories to social work practice. The student will draw from theory, previous practice and research of the subject matter and meet the expectations and knowledge requirement of engagement with public protection. |
