Aims of Module
To enable the student to evaluate their personal and professional development and the practice learning experience. To enable the student to identify and begin to plan future learning needs.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Critically reflect on progress in personal development resulting from the first practice learning.

Evaluate the professional learning and development which has taken place and on the relationship of professional and personal learning.

Critically appraise aspects of development which need to be part of a future learning plan.

Reflect on strategies outlined and deal with ethical issues, dilemmas or conflicts.

Indicative Module Content
The social work practice learning experience will allow the student the opportunity to reflect and plan.
| Student's will draw from theory, practice and research of the subject matter and meet the expectations and knowledge requirement of Key Capabilities in Child Care and Child Protection (Scottish Executive, 2006). Where the student does not undertake their practice learning in a child care setting Key Capabilities may not underpin the focus of student learning and may not have a significant role in the learning outcomes for the student within this module.
