Aims of Module | |||

To enable the student to critically evaluate advanced theories and empirical data relating to development throughout the lifespan. To discuss psychological explanations of developmental psychopathology. |

3 | Synthesise research findings in order to analyse major aspects of psychological functioning across lifespan. |
Indicative Module Content |
---|
Developmental research methodology. Cognitive development. Language development: debates and issues. Social and emotional development. Educational applications. Theory of mind. Childhood Psychopathology and neurodiversity. Culture and coloniality in human development . Psychological aspects of functioning in older people. |
