Prerequisites for Module
An undergraduate degree in pharmacy from a UK university or overseas equivalent, at a minimum of honours level and one years post-registration experience OR an integrated masters degree in pharmacy (MPharm) and profressional registration OR in consultation with the Course Leader.

To demonstrate professional competence in research planning and execution.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Demonstrate competence in systematic literature retrieval and critical appraisal through application of relevant techniques.

Devise and systematically implement a comprehensive project plan that encompasses all aspects an investigative study.

Demonstrate mastery of appropriate methodolgical techniques for data collection and analysis in a specified area of practice.

4. |
Work autonomously with minimal guidance to apply a problem solving approach to all aspects of research.

5. |
Demonstrate professional competence in oral and written presentation skills and competent defence of their thesis.
