To critically investigate the structures, processes and outcomes of a variety of pharmacy services in specialist areas. |
Learning Outcomes for Module | |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Discuss current national and local policy contexts in relation to pharmacy service provision. |
2 | Critically evaluate the structures, processes and outcomes associated with pharmacy service provision. |
3 | Synthesise, document and justify evidence based care plans including monitoring and evaluating patients' response to therapy and modifying treatment, in the context of the students' own practice. |
4 | Critically appraise these care plans in relation to individual, organisational and national pharmacy service provision. |
Indicative Module Content |

This module will enable the student to fully investigate and explore the structures, processes and outcomes associated with the provision of pharmacy services in personal, organisational and national health policy context. |

Prerequisites for Module | An undergraduate degree in pharmacy from a UK university or overseas equivalent, at a minimum of honours level and one year's post-registration experience OR an integrated masters degree in pharmacy (MPharm) and profressional registration OR in consultation with the Course Leader. |
