An undergraduate degree in pharmacy from a UK university or overseas equivalent, and one year post-registration experience or in consultation with the Course Leader.

Aims of Module
To enable students to analyse rigorously, effectively and critically aspects of clinical pharmacy practice within a public health context.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

- Introduction to public health, pharmacoepidemiology,evidence based practice. - Pharmacoeconomics, pharmacovigilance and audit
| - Medicines management: drug formularies, clinical guidelines, prescribing data analysis, clinical governance, risk assessment and management.
