On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Critique the definitions and components of digital literacy in health and social care. |
2 | Appraise the challenges and opportunities of digital health innovations in relation to digital literacy within their own professional practice. |
3 | Appraise the impact of service change management within their own professional practice, in terms of innovative digital technologies. |
4 | Appraise information governance, data handling and protecting personal information. |
Indicative Module Content |
---|
Digital health and care literacy; interdependency of digital and health literacies and capabilities; workforce development of digital literacy of health professionals, patients, citizens and industry in health promotion, workforce capability, innovative digital technologies, components and strategies of eHealth, accessible and secure digital records, electronic information and communication technologies, digital participation projects, service change management, co-production and co-design, and information governance and cybersecurity. |
