1 | Critically appraise current child protection practices within their own profession. |
2 | Critically examine legislation, policy and theory in child protection. |
3 | Critically explore theory and deliver child protection strategies within a multiagency context. |
4 | Critically explore professional identity and inter-professional boundaries in the context of child protection. |
5 | Critically evaluate their personal and professional development in relation to managing child protection within the multiagency context. |

Prerequisites for Module | This module is open to professionals in health care, education, police, social work and third sector who have developed their level of knowledge, skills and competence in relation to children and young people's wellbeing. This normally means that they have at least 2 years' post qualifying experience and have professional responsibility in their area for child protection cases. |
