Aims of Module
To enable the student to critically explore and deliver safe and effective interventions to achieve wellbeing outcomes within health visiting practice.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Critically analyse the underpinning theories, principals and concepts of leading and managing teams and caseloads.
2 Critically analyse the theoretical basis of a range of strategies and approaches to address the contemporary health care requirements within health visiting.
3 Critically appraise and evaluate infant feeding strategies.
4 Critically explore the role of the health visitor in the facilitation of learning.
5 Critically appraise the role of the health visitor within multi-agency working.
