On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Analyse methods and tools to assess complex health and social needs of individuals and families and ways to prevent, reduce, and manage needs and risks. |
2 | Critically analyse theories of abuse and violence, and legislation, policies and guidelines to protect children, young people, and others vulnerable to abuse. |
3 | Examine professional role, accountability, skills and criteria for good practice in multi-agency work to protect children, young people, adults, and vulnerable groups. |
4 | Appraise strategies to support children, young people, and others vulnerable to abuse. |
