Aims of Module
To provide the student with the opportunity to conduct an in-depth investigation into a specific area of practice or professional interest.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Discuss the evidence supporting a relevant area of service enhancement.
2 Critically discuss the process of change management appropriate to the suggested service enhancement.
3 Critically justify a potential evaluation method to assess the proposed service enhancement.
4 Discuss the potential impact the proposed service enhancement could have on paramedic practice.

Indicative Module Content
Critical and analytical skills: critical appraisal; project planning; time management; project/report writing; change management; methods of evaluation.
