On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Critically evaluate the skills and attributes required for effective leadership in hazardous environments. |
2 | Discuss the role of evidence informed decisions in incident management. |
3 | Implement and critically evaluate operational incident management in a simulated hazardous environment. |
4 | Critically apply the principles of evidence-informed decision making in a simulated hazardous environment. |

Decision making models; clinical reasoning; critical thinking; ethics of decision making; accountability; autonomy; legal and ethical issues; problem solving; delegation and prioritisation; clinical governance; risk assessment; change management theory; clinical and operational management; leadership skills; performance review; developing critical writing skills. |
