Aims of Module
To enable the student to develop a critical understanding of risk management in the workplace.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Examine the foundations of Health and Safety.
2 Discuss health and safety legislation, and policy.
3 Apply the risk assessment process.
4 Explore the principles of collaboration to enhance the risk management process.
5 Critically analyse the application of risk management within the workplace.
