Aims of Module
To facilitate the student's application of sciences to meet the essential and complex physical and mental healthcare needs of the adult.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Critically explore the key pathophysiological processes related to complex physical and mental health conditions of the adult.
2 Discuss the pathophysiology of clinical features related to complex physical and mental health conditions of the adult.
3 Discuss the scientific basis for a range of investigative procedures related to complex physical and mental health conditions of the adult.
4 Critically discuss a range of pharmacological interventions in relation to complex physical and mental health conditions of the adult

Pathophysiological processes in selected complex physical and mental health problems; Pharmacology, Polypharmacy, Pharmaco-kinetics, Pharmaco-dynamics; Haemodynamics.
