Prerequisites for Module
In addition to the course entry requirements, or equivalent, the student will hold the Health and Safety Offshore Medic Certificate or the equivalent prior to undertaking this module. The student requires a minimum of 37.5 hours previous education / training and experience in the last 12 months e.g. ECG Recognition; First Aid at Work; Medical Emergency Response Team; Pre-Hospital Care Course or Other Training. Evidence of this will be required on application.

Aims of Module
To facilitate the student to critically explore aspects of practice learning and experience which are relevant to their ongoing professional knowledge and skills development within the remote environment.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
