On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Apply a structured approach in the assessment of the acutely ill/injured child or young person. |
2 | Discuss communication strategies applied when engaging with children, young people, family and relevant professionals. |
3 | Analyse the ethical, legal and professional issues that may be encountered when caring for acutely ill/injured children or young people and their family. |
4 | Source, discuss and use current evidence based practice in the unplanned care of acutely ill/injured children and young people. |
5 | Demonstrate competency in assessment for the care of the acutely ill/injured child or young person. |
