The module will facilitate the student to consolidate and enhance their knowledge of safe, effective and person centred practice relating to managing medication. |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for the major drug groups in your area of clinical practice. |
2 | Produce evidence of accuracy in calculating medications. |
3 | Interpret the significance of safe medication administration and adverse reactions/incidents from a safety perspective. |
4 | Discuss and debate the challenges and opportunities relating to medication concordance and promoting patient independence and self management. |
