To enable the student to critically apply relevant theoretical concepts, lead care and demonstrate skills to meet the physical and emotional needs of the adult patient in a variety of settings and situations. |
Learning Outcomes for Module | |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Evidence underpinning professional requirements for teaching and practice supervision. |
2 | Safely apply the knowledge of prescribing to the care of the patient. |
3 | Critically discuss decision-making processes and the management of care using evidence. |
4 | Demonstrate and identify the rationale for relevant skills essential for leading care of adults with complex health needs in a variety of settings. |
5 | Explain the roles and responsibilities of the multi-agency team working collaboratively in assessing, treating, intervening and caring for the adult patient in a variety of settings. |
