Aims of Module
To enable the student to critically analyse the development of professional practice within their specialist area.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Analyse the evidence and policies underpinning professional practice, encompassing regulatory, legal and credentialing requirements relevant to your area of practice.
2 Critically explore an area of quality improvement in relation to an identified area of practice.
3 Critically discuss the factors that impact on contemporary healthcare delivery.
4 Examine how technology and contemporary health communication systems can influence professional practice.
5 Critically reflect on how strategic, cultural and organisational challenges can impact the development of practice.
