Aims of Module
To facilitate the student's application of the sciences to childhood illness and trauma.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Explain the pathophysiology and psychopathology of selected conditions.
2 Explore the impact of illness and trauma on children, young people and their family's quality of life
3 Apply knowledge of pharmacological interventions in the management of common childhood conditions
4 Relate genetics to common childhood conditions.
