To enable the student to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills into the practice environment in accordance with HCPC standards, with an emphasis on operating safely in any environment. |

Personal and professional development; ethical practice; initial patient assessment, planning and delivery of safe out of hospital care; out of hospital care skills; reflective models and using reflection; health and safety of self, other members of staff and patient; using evidence based practice. |

During NU1999 the student will complete 375 placement hours. In total for Stage 1, 750 hours will be completed during modules NU1995, NU1996 and NU1999. |
