Learning Outcomes for Module | |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Understand the concept of health and wellbeing as experienced by a diverse range of individuals, communities and cultures in society. |
2 | Demonstrate an understanding of the physical, mental and societal factors that influence health and impact upon health inequalities across the lifespan. |
3 | Understand the challenges of global health and their impact upon health and wellbeing in populations and individuals. |
4 | Demonstrate awareness of culturally sensitive and professionally appropriate attitudes, values and beliefs to address the public health care needs of cultural groups. |
