Aims of Module | |||

To enable the student to meet the relevant HCPC competencies in the Practice Assessment Document through supervised participation in practice. |
Learning Outcomes for Module | |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Demonstrate a proactive approach to their own learning and the ability to participate in care with guidance from Practice Educators. |
2 | Demonstrate achievement of the HCPC standards of proficiency and standards of conduct, performance and ethics outcomes, as identified within the Practice Assessment Documentation (PAD), to meet progression criteria for entry to Stage 2 of the course. |
3 | Demonstrate professional attitudes and values across a range of practice learning environments taking cognisance of shared ethical and professional values within uni-professional and interprofessional teams. |
4 | Safely demonstrate a range of communication and relationship management skills in a person-centred manner. |
5 | Safely demonstrate a range of Paramedic procedures to provide evidence-based, person-centred care. |

Preparation for practice; Meeting the standards of proficiency set by the HCPC: Practice safely, lawfully and effectively within their scope of practice; Meeting the HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics. |
