1 | Describe the role and responsibility of the midwife within current maternity care provision. |
2 | Identify key legal and ethical dimensions of the midwife’s role. |
3 | Summarise key sociological and psychological agendas impacting on current maternity care. |
4 | Recognise the importance of sensitive midwifery care to support women as individuals. |
