3 | Apply the principles of landownership rights to practical situations. |
Indicative Module Content |
---|
Basic concepts of property law; landownership; requirements of writing; the proprty registers; title conditions; leases; public rights over land and water; positive prescription. |
Module Delivery |

This is a lecture and tutorial based module. Lectures provide core module content. Tutorials develop associated higher level skills through student centred learning. In the distance learning mode, in addition, online activities will form part of the module contact time. |

The module is assessed by way of a single assessment component weighted at 100%. Additionally there is a participation requirement which is assessed on a pass/fail basis. Relative to the participation requirement each student is normally required to pass such online activities as identified in the module. Non-submission or non-completion of the competencies will result in an NS grade. An overall minimum grade D is required to pass the module. | |
