In addition to an Honours degree, the applicant shall evidence that they have undertaken HSM144 Evidence Based Practice in Clinical Hypnotherapy or equivalent.

Aims of Module
To enable the student to develop a critical understanding of key knowledge, principles and practice required in clinical hypnotherapy.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Critically discuss concepts of health and wellbeing and the potential role of hypnotherapy to enhance this for individuals.

Evaluate, critically, the factors involved in developing an environment and atmosphere conducive to client interactions.

Demonstrate critical understanding and application of core knowledge and skills required for ethical practice in clinical hypnotherapy.

Critically discuss and evaluate core methods utilised in clinical hypnotherapy.
