Aims of Module
To provide students with the opportunity to synthesise, and further develop, their learning from across the programme to demonstrate, holistically, their mastery in the area(s) of strategic planning and/or strategic management by undertaking an independent project.

Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1 Conduct an independent project related to strategic service planning and delivery in health and social care.
2 Critically review and discuss relevant available literature, research and professional knowledge to establish a clear academic and practice context for the project and methods used.
3 Critically analyse, evaluate and discuss the results of the project in relation to academic and practice considerations in a professionally appropriate manner.
4 Critically discuss the implications and impact of the project in relation to appropriate areas of practice.
5 Review and reflect on the project process displaying awareness of the limitations of the project and any attendant ethical issues.
