Aims of Module
The aim of the module is to enable the student to develop knowledge and understanding of pharmacology and a critical awareness of its implications to patient management within physiotherapy practice.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Appraise the basic pharmacological and pharmacokinetic principles underpinning drug therapy.

Critically evaluate the implications of patient factors and co morbidities to drug therapy seen in physiotherapy practice.
