This module aims to equip the student with the knowledge and understanding to underpin clinical decision making in assessment of patients with musculoskeletal minor injuries in an accident and emergency environment. |

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to: | |
1 | Explore the spectrum of mechanisms of injury and pathophysiology of musculoskeletal minor injury. |
2 | Critically evaluate the mechanisms for patient consultation and assessment of musculoskeletal minor injury in an accident and emergency environment. |

Prerequisites for Module | BSc(Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography, Nursing or a relevant Allied Health Profession. Plus a minimum of 3 years experience in imaging or treatment of minor injuries. |
