Aims of Module
To enable students to develop enhanced skills in the critical evaluation of current and emerging theory and practice in the field of neurological rehabilitation.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Critically analyse and evaluate the theories of motor control and the process of neuroplasticity, and apply these principles to a variety of neurological presentations.

Critically appraise the evidence for motor learning and issues influencing skill acquisition.

3. |
Discuss and evaluate a variety of frameworks for the assessment of individuals with neurological pathology.

4. |
Critically evaluate the evidence base for physiotherapy intervention in a variety of neurological conditions.

5. |
Critically reflect upon their own practice.
