Aims of Module

The aim of this module is to equip the student with the knowledge and understanding of the principles underpinning behaviour change to support their own professional practice.

Learning Outcomes for Module

On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

1. Analyse theories of health behaviour change.
2. Evaluate a range of factors which promote and inhibit behaviour change.
3. Discuss a range of interventions designed to influence health behaviours.
