Aims of Module
To enable the student to acquire, develop and deploy skills of rational thought and critical analysis.
Learning Outcomes for Module
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:

Indicative Module Content
Study skills including time management, taking notes, assembling information. Academic and literary styles of writing including structure, grammar, referencing, and presentation. Use of library and other sources of information including World Wide WEB. Information retrieval, storage, critical analysis of literature.
